Hi Miltika,
Thank you for your article. I read it with great interest. I think your oldest version is older than you think. Somewhere in the mid 30s, perhaps.
See this article:

It looks like the company was called B.K.Prchalové & spol. first and somewhere in the mid 30s started to use the name Ericsson too.
I have another model, that was made in Brno, that also used the name Prchal, but not ERicsson. It is unclear what this model is and why it was made.

Do you know anything about this model?

Dear Arwin,
Firstly, thanks for your comment.
Secondly, I have read your Prchal mystery telephone article. It is a very interesting machine. I have never seen this type in our country. Your phone has a different handset as well as different inside layout. The upper casing is unfamiliar too. Your phone has the button below on the right; however, the B. K. Prchalové phone (later known as Prchal-Ericsson and later on as Tesla Prchal type) has it on the upper side. You may compare your one with mine at https://miltikablog.cz/bakelitovy-telefon-tesla-sf-24/. Moreover, I have a small Prchal – Ericsson phone in renovation process, and OB phone too. All phones in my collection have the same upper casing shape, but it differs from your one.
On the paper laber on your phone, there is written “Brün”, date, and “kontr“ (that is, checked). It definitely means the name of a person, who examined the phone.
Prchal – Ericsson company existed in Czech Republic until 1946, when it was nationalized and merged into Tesla company. See https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesla_(podnik). I guess Ericsson company was a Prchal-Ericsson company partner until 1946.
Besides that, Prchal-Ericsson company was placed in Brno as well as PRITEG (Společnost pro soukromé telefony Praha), I enclosed the contemporary ad. Thus, you phone may be manufactured by PRITEG.
My the oldest B. K. Prchalové phone has year 1935 on the bottom part. I guess it is a year of fabrication or year of commissioning more likely. The inner parts of the phone were fabricated much earlier for sure. The parts are labeled by B. K. Prchalové company even though B. K. Prchalové company has already been a L. M. Ericsson company partner. The exact date when the Prchal – Ericsson was established I was not able to find out yet, since literature and other sources of information disagree with each other. It was established someday between years 1929 and 1934.
Regards,
Míla
